                                                                 Atheism and Morality









It's not true that morality comes from God or worship of god because everyone endowed with good or bad nature. And according to their nature everyone behaves.

 If we think that all the atheist are immoral then what would you say about "Ravan" he was the great shivbhakt. Inspite of that we find a great sort of immorality in him. Then why atheist should not be the moral?

Morality is present in all societies in some form. There were moral people and moral codes long before the Jesus. Everyone is human beings and morality comes from humanity not from god. Be kind with each other is the first and pretty universal value.  and it existed long before holy books were written. We don't have to be kind with holy statue of god so morality doesn't do anything with god.

If accept morality from god or religion then we would expect to see higher morality among the most religious and godly societies. for eg. US is the most religious western nation yet there is highest rate of imprisonment, highest murder rate, highest rape rate.

We can get our morality from constant development of our culture. from the evolution of laws that help us to create a peaceful society. We are the creator of our own morality. and we pass it down to our children and grandchildren.

In no dictionary the synonym of 'wicked' is 'godless'.
